Zooey Deschanel, star of 2009's indie hit "(500) Days of Summer," has been cast to play the lead in Liz Meriwether's untitled Fox pilot. The ensemble comedy, which was once titled "Chicks and Dicks," will center on the sexual politics of young people. Writer and executive producer Meriwether tackled a similar topic in her recent film "No Strings Attached." Deschanel's sister Emily Deschanel stars on Fox's "Bones," which is in its sixth season.
