Report: Still Plenty of Money in Entertainment Biz

Media and entertainment companies overall grew by five percent last year, according to a new report from the accounting firm Ernst & Young. The Wrap has a decent report on the data, complete with lots of fun line graphs. (Personally, our favorite type of graph is pie, but our favorite type of pie is not graph. Remember that.) Basically, the news appears to be that companies managed to withstand the economic apocalypse through "financial discipline" as one E&Y analyst told the Wrap.

SAGWatch offers a link to the story with the note, "Think of it as a follow up to our memo to negotiators a month ago." The implications there are pretty obvious.
