'Modern Family' Topping DVR; 'Earnest' in Theaters

FamilyMedia Life reported that "Modern Family" and "Hawaii Five-O" may soon hit a DVR landmark. Currently, both shows have been averaging over three million DVR viewers and no series has stayed above that number for a whole season. DVR viewership sometimes plays a part in whether a show stays on the air, i.e. the recent renewal of "Fringe" occurred partially due to its strong DVR viewership.

• 20th Century Fox and James Cameron have leased a studio and office space at MBS Media Campus in Manhattan Beach, according to The Hollywood Reporter. They will use the location to shoot the two sequels to "Avatar."

Playbill has the show times and locations (movie theaters and performing arts centers) for upcoming screenings of Broadway's "The Importance of Being Earnest."
