Walmart Streaming Movies; 'Priscilla' at Apple Store

Nickadams • One-stop shopping at Walmart will soon be instantaneous, at least as far as movies are concerned. In March the retailer bought VUDU, an online movie streaming website and is now integrating it into its Walmart.com website. Deadline has the story.

• Stars of “Priscilla Queen of the Desert” and Martha Walsh will be making an appearance today at 4 p.m. at the SoHo Apple Store in Manhattan. According to Playbill, after the musical numbers, a question-and-answer session will take place.

• 20th Century Fox has bought the rights the oral history “ESPN: Those Guys Have All The Fun” and will develop a feature based on the creation of the sports network. According to Deadline, when ICM began shopping the book a few weeks ago, it caused a stir, and there is already interest from writers and directors to work on the project.
