Broadway en Francais; 'Mormon' Creators Teach

Mormon • Several productions of Broadway shows will be performed in Paris this season, and most will be presented in French. Will singing "The Internet is for Porn" in French make it sound even more risqué?  Read the story at Playbill.

• Emmy and Tony Award-winning duo Matt Stone and Trey Parker crashed an NYU class and gave advice on writing, reported The New York Times. As if people needed another reason to miss college.

• “Sweet,” an informal comedy show in the East Village bar Ella, has emerged as a relaxed venue for up-and-coming comics and well-known comedians. Check it out at The Times.

Los Angeles Times discusses how the fairly unknown cast members (like some guys named Michael Fassbender and Tom Hardy) of HBO's "Band of Brothers" have climbed the Hollywood ladder in ten years. Bottom line: If Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks are making a war project, do whatever you can to be a part of it.
