'Clybourne' on B'way?; Movie Attendance Down

• Bruce Norris's Pulitzer Prize-winning play "Clybourne Park" is vying for a spot on the Great White Way. The drama about race relations and neighborhood gentrification may be on Broadway this spring if there's a theater available. Read the story at The New York Times.

Deadline is saying "Dexter" star Michael C. Hall is in negotiations to play the lead in Broadway's "Big Fish," an upcoming musical adaptation of the film with the same name.

• Eve Brent, known for playing Jane in "Tarzan" films, passed away. Read her obituary at The New York Times.

• It was reported earlier this week that the domestic box office this summer hit a record high of $4.4 billion, but Entertainment Weekly points out that inflated ticket prices contributed to the growth in gross. In fact, movie theater attendance significantly decreased this past summer.
