Freeman to be Honored; Taymor Sues

Mor• Morgan Freeman will receive the Cecil B. DeMille Award for lifetime achievement at the 69th annual Golden Globe Awards ceremony on Sunday, Jan. 15. Check it out at The Hollywood Reporter.

• Director Julie Taymor sued the producers of the musical "Spider-Man: Turn off the Dark" this past Tuesday, allegedly saying they did not compensate her for her time with the production. The damages were estimated to at least $1 million. Read the story at The New York Times.
