Moby Gives Free Music to Indie and Non-Profit Films

MobyMoby, musician and photographer, has decided to extend his generosity to who some consider the little guys in the film industry. In a post on mobygratis.com, Moby announced that the section of his website titled "film music" will now provide free music to " independent and non-profit filmmakers, film students, and anyone in need of free music for their independent, non-profit film, video, or short."

All one has to do is create an account on Moby's site to listen to the available music and download it. Moby wrote, "the music is free as long as it's being used in a non-commercial or non-profit film, video, or short." If, however, you wish to use the music in a commercial short or film, Moby asks that you apply for "an easy license" and donate any proftits to the humane society.
