An 'Artist' Weekend
When does Jean Dujardin sleep? First, he popped up Friday night on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon"--but not as a guest, as the announcer. Then, he appeared in an "Artist"-inspired sketch (see above) on "Saturday Night Live." From which we assume he hopped a red-eye to go to England for the BAFTA Awards just a few hours later, where he won Best Actor.
Dujardin's win--and "The Artist" wins for Best Picture, Screenplay, and Director, effectively end this year's Oscar race. It's a done deal, "Hugo" and "The Help" can stop hoping. And Brad Pitt and George Clooney will have to clap politely one more time as Dujardin wins the Oscar. Full list of BAFTA winners after the jump.
