• Neil Patrick Harris is in talks to host the upcoming Tony Awards. Yesterday, the nominations for this year's ceremony were announced. We'll have to wait until June 12 to see if Harris is "legendary" as a host. Deadline's got the story.

• Forbes looks at media analyst Rich Greenfield's proposal that argues HBO should become its own company. The Time Warner-owned premium television channel generates $4 billion in revenue, so it's unlikely Time Warner would let it go easily.
• Warner Bros. bought the parent company of Rotten Tomatoes reported Los Angeles Times.
• Also according to Los Angeles Times, Chris Todd, the chief of the Motion Picture Assn. of America, says Hollywood need to do a better job of promoting itself. It's true. Before the article, I hadn't even heard of this "Hollywood."
