Emily Post to Hit the Big Screen

0224_TrevorEngelson Warner Bros. is currently preparing a romantic comedy based on Emily Post’s “Etiquette,” her bestseller now in its 17th edition. The film’s story centers around a reversal of the classic “My Fair Lady” with Post as a manners coach who transforms a an unrefined male into a proper gentleman. A screen treatment was written by Nick Osborne, who will also produce along with Trevor Engelson. The duo was granted the green light from The Emily Post Institute after Post’s family read the first treatment.
