Lloyd Webber Renews Deal With Universal

0224_LloydWebber Vivendi’s Universal Music Group signed a deal that will allow the company to distribute the work of Andrew Lloyd Webber. The new deal, an extension of a previous agreement, includes such things as “global recording and publishing agreements for Lloyd Webber’s Really Useful Group,” according to Reuters. Universal’s Polydor Records will also be releasing “Love Never Dies,” the sequel to “The Phantom of the Opera.” A catalogue will also be made by Universal’s publishing team that will feature varied forms of media, such as film and TV.
