After turning down multiple offers for the upcoming pilot season, “Battlestar Galactica” alum Katee Sackhoff, currently starring in on the Fox series “24,” chose a pilot for a crime drama helmed by Richard Hatem as her next project. The series will focus on female detective as she teams up with an ex-cop to solve various crimes. Producers of “24,” though quiet about any major details, have made it possible to allow Sackhoff to take on the new series, if the action drama is picked up for a ninth season.
