SoHo's Ohio Theatre Set to Close
The Ohio Theatre, one of the oldest of its kind in New York’s SoHo, is set to close its doors permanently this summer. Artistic Director Robert Lyons said in a statement, “The Ohio Theatre has been an incubator and platform for New York’s most exciting and innovative theatre artists for almost 30 years. Its closing emphatically punctuates the end of an era in Soho.” The theater will continue with the rest of its scheduled season and is set to close on Aug. 31.
