Actress Anne Brownstone Dies at 87

Film, television, and stage actor Anne Brownstone died peacefully Jan. 29 in Manhattan. She was 87. Born on June 4, 1923, Brownstone starred in hundreds of Hollywood radio shows. She penned and acted in several early TV shows, including "Dragnet," and was a regular leading lady at the Pasadena Playhouse. Her husband, Joseph Brownstone, was the top company manager for Sol Hurok Productions before dying in 1970.
