Royal Shakespeare Company Offering Rush Lottery

RSC The Royal Shakespeare Company is coming to New York, and for the first time ever, they will be offering a $25 rush ticket program to give budget conscious people a chance to attend. RSC will be performing five plays – “As You Like It,” “Julius Caesar,” “King Lear,” “Romeo and Juliet” and “The Winter’s tale – in repertory from July 6 to August 14. This six-week residency, co-presented by Lincoln Center Festival and Park Avenue Armory will see a full-scale recreation of RSC’s Stratford-Upon-Avon Theatre built inside the Armory’s Wade Thompson Drill Hall.

The RSC Rush will offer a limited number of tickets to performances with the program beginning on June 28. Each week the lottery will open on Tuesday and close the following Thursday at 11:59 p.m. Those wishing to participate may do so by visiting LincolnCenter.org/RSCrush and creating a personal wish list. Winners will be contacted via email and expected to pick up tickets during a specific time before each show.
