Pesci Sues Over Role in Gotti Film

Joe pesci In the upcoming Gotti mafia biopic, conflict continues after the camera stops rolling. The Associated Press reported that Joe Pesci accused filmmakers of casting him in a lesser role than he was initially offered, cutting his salary cut by $2 million.

The actor filed a suit against Fiore Films on Wednesday in an attempt to get the $ 3 million he said he was promised. Pesci also claimed that the company used his image and likeness to promote the film. He was supposed to portray John Gotti Sr.’s childhood friend, a role which required him to gain 30 pounds.

However, Fiore Films CEO Marc Fiore said that Pesci had backed out of the project months ago, refusing to participate in the film until the original director was replaced. “Before we had a deal, Mr. Pesci walked away,” Fiore said.
